Hi can you explain the difference between a pure sine and modified sine inverter?

Modified sine wave is not an exact shape sine wave. It is made by switch mode electronics and it might be appearing as up and down wave, but it is not sinusoidal.

Take a look at this picture of real sine wave and compare with modified (made look like sine)
You may say "so what?"....
Not that fast. Some devises really need good and clean sine wave to function.

Most of manufacturers do not say if it is pure sine wave or it is modified ("mod"Подмигивание. In this case you could with 99.9% assurance say it is modified.
In 98% of Modified they are simply square wave with little inductance to smooth the square corners.
I think in most cases (98%) they are all SIMPLE square waves. They don't even have mentioned above complex square wave shape.
